Learn to customize workouts to address weaknesses,
health conditions, postural problems, injuries and specific
populations. Topics covered in this lecture/demonstration course
include: - Approaches and checklists for rehabilitating an
injured
musculoskeletal system
- Anatomy and biomechanics of common injuries and
problems
- Dysfunctions and
pathologies together with the relevant exercise modifications in the:
lumbo-pelvic, cervical,
upper quadrant, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle and foot
regions
- Special considerations for pregnancy, fibromyalgia
and other conditions including workout design, recommended exercises
and which exercises to avoid.
- How to choose appropriate modifications for
Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Stability Chair and Barrel exercises
